Biography
I live in Manaccan, a small village in Cornwall, England. I came into faith 15 years ago, when I was caught in a fire. I had a retail business then, and by accident, my shop caught ablaze. I ran inside the building to find a fire extinguisher, but the door frame caught on fire .So i was trapped with no way out. The smoke started to increase, and i could feel myself losing consciousness.I found a sink , and managed to splash water over my face to keep my self awake, and i just fell to my knees and prayed for a way out, God answered my prayer, there was a cold storage fridge , in the building , which was vacuum sealed , I dived in the fridge just in time to be able to breath some fresh air . I know God was looking out for me , that was the most reassuring thing that ever happened to me, knowing that God is always in control of everything we do in our lives.
I've always had a passion for music, and five years ago I was inspired by a worship leader called Pete Nash, to pick up my guitar and start writing my own worship songs, and that's where it started. I've just recorded my first CD called 'Waiting for the Glory Days' which has been a good 'ice breaker' with proclaiming God's name, especially with my family and friends who do not have a relationship with the Lord, music can be such a good vehicle in many ways.
I Worship at an Anglican church in St.Keverne , involved in the Worship music there, it gives me chance ,to get along side younger ,up and coming musicians ,try and give them encouragement etc.
The Celebration band` are a group of a musicians from different churches in the South West region of Cornwall , i play guitar in the band , we are currently doing praise and worship `gigs` in and around Cornwall .
In the last three months i have recently formed a new band called Re-Start , together with a fellow worship singer songwriter called Scott Nicholas ,we both have a vision to see youngsters `stirred` by God, and his purpose ,` Music can really have a say in their live`s`
