Chris Nesbitt
Biography
Chris Nesbitt is a psalmist and worship leader from Southern California. He leads worship at Heritage Christian Fellowship in San Clemente, and has done so for over 8 years. He is zealous about genuine worship, and writes songs that get congregations quickly focused on God's majesty, Christ's love and the Spirit's power.
Chris released his debut, Silent Stones, in 2005. The CD features 12 original worship songs intended for congregational singing and fit for contemporary and modern worship services. Although Chris is a non-touring, non-advertising indie artist, his songs went from relative obscurity to being sung in thousands of churches across America and in at least 25 countries in less than six months time. Worship Leader magazine calls Silent Stones "A must-have for the worship professional" and has placed two songs from Silent Stones on their nationally renown Song DISCovery CDs.
Launched concurrent with Silent Stones, chrisnesbitt.com serves worship leaders with free resources for Chris' music, such as chord charts, lead sheets and overheads. This is the only artist website on the net offering free accompaniment tracks for an entire album. At just over a year old, the site averages 75 unique visitors daily and 15,000 hits monthly from over 50 countries.
