Narnia Resources
The eagerly-awaited first film in the Chronicles of Narnia, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was released December 2005, and Prince Caspian in the summer of 2008. The classic books by CS Lewis have been favourites of children and adults for decades.
The stories work as brilliant fantasy, adventure fiction, and also have a strong christian allegorical element, so are popular with christians and non-christians alike. Here we have collected some links to sites with resources and information on the books, the film, and ways to integrate Narnia into church services and outreach events. Please email if you have more good links to recommend, and we will add them here - thanks!
Free Drama Script
Written for a Christmas service at my home church (CCC) for presentation at our carol services on the 18th December 2005, this drama script links Narnia and the Nativity, by imagining the children having a conversation with the Professor on their return from the wardrobe. The authors, Jane and Ian Butcher, have kindly allowed us to offer the script for free download and use.
