Welcome to the Newsletter
It's been a few months since our last newsletter, so a very warm welcome to new subscribers, and Hi to all our old friends (some older than others...!)

If you've not visited our free online discussion forum, then do check it out if you have a moment - it's a great way to get to know each other a little, and to exchange ideas and information on a wide range of worship-related topics.

New CD - Get into the Word - out now
We're really pleased with the response so far to the latest FW CD, which we launched just a few weeks back. Described by many as the best yet, as well as the usual mix of great songs, the CD has a bonus free interactive CD-Rom with all the sheet music included, and a fun section full of great teaching content for kids.

Already at number 5 in ICC Record's "top ten" (our UK distributors), the feedback to both the songs and interactive CD has been really positive, so if you haven't ordered a copy yet, then check out the CD mini-site and I'm sure you'll be tempted...

Get into the Word - launch event and Roadshow
If you are within striking distance of south London (sorry to all our subscribers outside the UK!) then we'd like to extend a warm invitation to join us for the launch event for the new CD on the afternoon of Sunday 28 November. Drop us an email or keep an eye on the website for full details - it will be a great family event, suitable for all ages.

In the new year, we will be taking the songs on the road, visiting churches with our unique "FW Roadshow". If you are interested in having a Roadshow visit your church or area then do drop us an email or phone 020 8698 7201

Christmas Resources
Well, Summer's over, the leaves are starting to fall, and the shops are already stuffed full of Christmas stuff - where does the time go?

I'm not well known for forward planning, but I do know that Christmas always arrives sooner than I expected it to, and I'm usually scrambling last minute for fresh ideas. If you are more organised than me (not hard actually!) and are starting to plan for your Christmas events and services, then do check out our Christmas page.

As well as a wide range of resources based round our hugely popular song and video "Peace Child" (now also available for the first time on DVD), the page contains free drama scripts, and links to other useful sites.

Halloween Resources
If you are looking for resources and suggestions for Halloween alternative events this year, then check our our page of links. It's great when churches do something positive for children, so if you've not put on an event before, then do think about it this year. So many parents struggle with whether or not to allow their children to join in with Halloween activities - they don't know if it is just "harmless fun", or something more sinister. So, if the church has an event that the children can go to, it can be a huge relief for parents, and a great fun, safe thing for the children - a win win!

Youth Resources
Chris Juby launched our youth mini-site earlier this year, and it has proved to be very popular, with a range of links to great youth sites and resources. We know that we are only scratching the surface of what's out there, however, so if you know of good youth links that we don't have yet, please do take a moment to drop an email to Chris.

We believe passionately that "Family Worship" or "All-age worship" should not just mean "Worship for children and parents", but many churches hold services which are just that, and in doing so, sometimes risk alienating teenagers and young adults who feel they can't engage with what's on offer. So, in planning family services, do make sure that you give equal considerations to all ages and stages reflected in your church attendance!
