Narnia
The film is coming soon, and not since Mel Gibson’s “Passion of the Christ” have so many christians got so excited about the potential of a mainstream film release.
There are differences - this will be a family film, so has more potential for more people to see it, and of course it is allegory and fiction rather than an attempt at re-enactment.
I’m putting together a page of links to good Narnia resources, so if you know of any, do drop me an email or post in the forum. Our own church is planning a screening of the film on the weekend it’s released, taking over screen 1 of our local cinema, so I’m looking forward to seeing it then - I loved the books as a child and still do!
