A key part of the ministry from Family Worship Resources is to visit churches with the "Family Worship Roadshow", aiming to model a high quality, all-age service, including drama, dance, multi-media,all-age-friendly talks, and, of course, songs. Led by Mike Burn, with Chris Juby, and a team of children & adults appropriate to the size of your church.
Available as an option with Roadshows, or own their own, are teaching seminars for worship leaders, service leaders and children's workers on how to structure effective all-age services.

Conference - Abernethy Trust Conference
Scotland. November 27th-30th 2007
Abernethy Trust Staff Conference
For the final FW booking of 2007 I was invited to lead worship for the staff retreat for the 120 or so team members in the Abernethy Trust, having met the Director, Lorimer, earlier in the year. The Trust does great work from their four centres in Scotland, and is also involved with a number of overseas projects in Brazil, Tanzania and Poland.
It was a great conference, and it was lovely to play again with Paul and Jane Parmenter, and 2 other great musicians, both called Steve.
The conference was held in beautiful surroundings on the Gartmore estate near Loch Lomond, and I enjoyed the chance to escape London for a few days and to spend some time working on new songs. Earlier in the week I had attended the annual UK Worship Songwriters' Consultation, which always inspires me to write more, and so it was well timed to then have the chance to get on and do it.
