A key part of the ministry from Family Worship Resources is to visit churches with the "Family Worship Roadshow", aiming to model a high quality, all-age service, including drama, dance, multi-media,all-age-friendly talks, and, of course, songs. Led by Mike Burn, with Chris Juby, and a team of children & adults appropriate to the size of your church.
Available as an option with Roadshows, or own their own, are teaching seminars for worship leaders, service leaders and children's workers on how to structure effective all-age services.

Roadshow - Greyfriars Church
Reading, Berkshire. May 8th-9th 2004
We spent an excellent weekend with the folks at Greyfriars, Reading and their 'New Hope' plant over 8th/9th May, taking Saturday workshops and two Sunday services.
A good number both from Greyfriars and other local churches had gathered for the Saturday workshops. Mike took sessions on the biblical background for all-age worship and on practical tips for making all-age worship work, while in seperate sessions Sophie and Josie led a dance workshop, and Chris taught some of the Family Worship songs.
We brought a full band for Greyfriars' large Sunday morning all-age service, with Jo Puleston joining us on keyboards; our church leader, Matt Hebditch also came along (to check up on us?!), and we tried out the new theme we will be using on Roadshows for the next few months - 'the lengths God went to to find us'.
After a fantastic lunch (huge thanks to everyone involved with the hospitality all weekend!), we took an afternoon service at the new Greyfriars plant - 'New Hope' - who currently have all-age services every week. There was a clear sense of God confirming all-age friendliness as a foundation stone of the new plant as we prayed together before the meeting, and there was a great atmosphere of freedom and release in the Roadshow mix of songs, drama, games and multimedia teaching.
