Brown Bear Music emerged from the UK alternative worship and youth-church movement of the early 90's. Formed by songwriters Ian Mizen and Andy Pressdee, BBM are based at The Bear, a congregation of Ichthus Christian Fellowship, in South East London. They regularly lead worship at The Bear, at various celebrations around Ichthus and other events such as Spring Harvest, and yet they are equally at home performing in the clubs, colleges and universities.

Through various twists and turns BBM have developed a unique sound and style as well as an uncompromising approach to worship. Their three albums (My Soul Thirsts For You / To Know You / Amazed) have all received excellent reviews (see Recommended) and clearly show the progression in their music and songwriting. The bands' original vision for 'evangelistic worship' is still at the heart of all they do and they have a genuine expectation that the best is yet to come.
