Who are we?
Family Worship Resources is a UK based, non-profit organisation providing songs and other resources to help all ages in the church worship together.
Mike is the director of Family Worship Resources. He is an experienced worship leader and songwriter, and has a particular heart for all-age worship. He recorded the first Family Worship album in 1993, which has since been followed by 3 others in the 'Family Worship' series, and the latest album "Get into the Word", is the first in a new "Nuts and Bolts" series released through ICC Records. Mike launched familyworship.org.uk in 1999; it has since become one of the most popular Christian sites in the UK. More on Mike.
Chris joined Family Worship in 2002 to help with admin, website design and maintenance, and in developing the ministry. He leads worship at youth, children's and all-age events, and at his home congregation, and travels with Mike and the team on the Family Worship Roadshow. Chris made his Family Worship songwriting debut on the 'Get into the Word' album. More on Chris.
If you want to get more of an idea of the vision behind Family Worship Resources, a good place to start would be the interview Mike recorded for London's Premier Radio in August 2001. Premier interview.
Over a dozen songwriters have been featured on the Family Worship albums, including Judy Bailey, Dave Bankhead, David Lyle-Morris, Greame Young, Jo Puleston, Tim Moyler and Brown Bear Music. Visit the Writers page for more details.
What else do we do?
Although songs and albums are our primary business, we're also involved with a whole range of other projects, both in the UK and overseas. Visit the Ministry page for our diary, and details of some of our other activities.
